Purpose

To support ideas that enhance classroom learning, foster student development, and reveal the wonders of chemistry.

Description

Since 2008, over 700 high school chemistry teachers received ACS-Hach High School Chemistry Classroom Grants. Teachers can request up to $1,500 for their ideas.

What We Fund

We typically offer grants for:

  • Laboratory Equipment & Supplies 
  • Instructional Materials 
  • Professional Development 
  • Student-Conducted Field Studies

Eligibility

Applicants must be a high school chemistry educator teaching in a U.S. or U.S. territory school.

Application & Instructions

In order to receive a grant for 2023-2024 you must submit your application between February 1 to  June 1, 2023.
