ACS Celebrates the IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast
The IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast is an event that happens on a single day in February of each year in conjunction with the U.N. Day of Women and Girls in Science.
In celebration of 2024’s central theme “Catalyzing Diversity in Science”, you are invited to join the global chemistry community in:
- Building active networks of people of all genders
- Overcoming barriers to gender equality
- Promoting professional and inclusive practices
Global Women’s Breakfast events are being planned by:

- ACS Colorado Section, US
- ACS Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Student Chapter, Oyo, Nigeria
- ACS North Carolina Section, Research Triangle Park, US
- ACS Queen’s University Student Chapter, Ontario, Canada
- Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, co-organized with ACS Malaysian Chapter
