The department chair virtual discussions provide a venue for department chairs of chemistry programs to share best practices on issues currently affecting chemical education. These issues can range from teaching virtual labs to leader resiliency to recruiting and retaining faculty and staff. The virtual sessions are typically held in February and October. In person sessions are held during the ACS Fall and Spring meetings.
